From looking through my old school work I came across a English piece of work with history links to the Tudors and Shakespeare. We wrote diary entries and made a historic looking diary to make this creative and more memorable, by using tea stains for an aged look. Here is the start of my work from my school book -

12th February 1600:
Dear diary,
Today I went to the Globe theatre for the first time. We watched a play written by William Shakespeare called 'As you like it', it is a comedy. My mother (a lady in waiting for Elizabeth) and my father (a courtier, nobleman) went with me to the play. We traveled by carriage pulled by the finest horses around. We passed beggars and servants walking by. It was very smelly in the city because of all the rubbish and people chucking urine out of their windows. It was a bumpy ride on the cobbles but at last we saw the theatre.
I stepped down from the carriage holding my mother and father's hands, I looked up and saw the Globe theatre at last.
