Finishing Sentences

As part of guided and shared writing, children can add their own ideas into sentences. You can target this for specific things e.g. vary sentence starters - children can write your sentence starter as an example then use this to develop some other sentence starters. The pupils could add some techniques and effects to the sentence, add key vocabulary and develop sentence structures, using teacher's suggestions as a foundation to guide their ideas.
