Emotion Poems

These can be used to describe a particular emotion using the five senses - I did this as a homework activity when I was in primary school, the example below is from my own school work.

Emotion - Love:

Love is pink like a rose.

It tastes like sweet popcorn.

It smells like a fragrant candle.

It looks like grandma's house.

It sounds like a beating heart.

It feels like a mug of hot chocolate!

The poems can be decorated to match the emotion - for example for the Love poem I wrote it inside a heart shape and used pink colours and glitter.
